In April 2026, Catapulta welcomed a group of Austria-based curators as part of a curatorial exchange with our international partner, Phileas – The Austrian Office for Contemporary Art. This visit marked Catapulta’s first curatorial exchange trip.
During the visit, they explored the Spanish art scene through meetings with artists and cultural professionals, creating spaces for dialogue and opportunities for professional collaboration.
Catapulta and Phileas support artists, curators, and institutions in their respective countries, Spain and Austria, strengthening their presence on the international contemporary art stage. Through partnerships with museums, biennials, and institutions worldwide, they facilitate the production, exhibition, and donation of new works to public collections.
